Summer isn't just a break from school. It's a season for muddy shoes, new friendships, curious minds, and the freedom to discover something new every day.
For more than 30 years, Weber Before and After School Program (Weber BASP) has created a Summer Camp where Weber Elementary children in Iowa City spend their days exploring, creating, laughing, and building memories they'll carry long after summer ends.
Summer Camp is filled with experiences that encourage children to explore the world around them.
Activities may include:
Weekly themed adventures
Field trips: swimming, hiking, museums, theme parks and more
STEM challenges and hands-on projects
Arts and creative expression
Outdoor games and active play
Reading and quiet discovery
Water activities
Team-building games
Community service projects
Special guests and seasonal celebrations
Every experience is designed to help children build confidence, strengthen friendships, and create lasting memories.
Monday–Friday
7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
The Summer Camp is closed on July 4.

Summer should be more than something children get through. It should be something they remember. For more than 30 years, Weber BASP has created meaningful summer experiences where children discover new interests, build lifelong friendships, and experience the freedom, confidence, and joy that define childhood.
Adventure, friendship, and discovery are waiting just around the corner.
