The final bell marks the end of the school day—not the end of discovery.
Some of life's most important lessons aren't found in a textbook. They're learned while building friendships. Solving problems together. Showing kindness. Trying again after something doesn't work the first time.
For more than 30 years, Weber Before and After School Program (Weber BASP) has created a place where Weber Elementary children continue discovering who they are long after school ends.
Every child deserves to feel known, valued, and accepted. When children know they belong, they develop the confidence to be themselves and the courage to grow.
Learning doesn't end when the school day does. Through creativity, exploration, and purposeful play, children discover new interests and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Meaningful relationships with peers and caring mentors teach empathy, kindness, respect, and the importance of community.
Every challenge overcome, every friendship formed, and every new experience helps children believe in themselves and discover what's possible.
Children may spend their day:
Completing homework with caring support
Building and creating through STEM activities
Exploring art and creative expression
Playing outdoors and staying active
Reading, imagining, and discovering
Working together through games and group activities
Celebrating seasons, traditions, and community
Every experience is intentionally designed to support children's social, emotional, and personal development while making after-school care something they look forward to each day.

Every afternoon offers opportunities to explore, create, and connect. Activities may include homework support, STEM projects, arts and crafts, outdoor play, group games, leadership activities, reading, and seasonal experiences designed to support children's social, emotional, and personal development.
Children can work on homework during free time with staff available to provide encouragement and support. We also believe children benefit from time to play, create, build friendships, and simply enjoy being children after a full day at school.
Yes. A nutritious afternoon snack is provided each day to help children recharge before participating in activities. Children are welcome to bring their own nut-free snack to eat during designated snack time.
Families can begin the enrollment process by visiting our Enroll page or contacting Weber BASP directly. We encourage early registration, as enrollment may be limited based on program capacity.
The school day may end, but childhood continues. For more than 30 years, Weber BASP has created meaningful after-school experiences where Weber Elementary children build confidence, strengthen friendships, discover new interests, and develop the character and compassion that will guide them throughout life.
Give your child a place to explore, create, and belong long after the school day ends.
